We're excited to share a significant milestone in our brand journey: Ridstar Ebikes is evolving into YVY—a new brand name that marks a fresh chapter, yet stays true to the quality and reliability you've come to love. We understand brand transitions can spark questions, so we're breaking down every detail to ensure clarity: from the relationship between Ridstar and YVY, to how our popular models align, and what this means for your next ride.

 

YVY = Ridstar Ebikes: Same Core, New Name

First and foremost, let's set the record straight: YVY is the new brand identity for Ridstar Ebikes. This is not a new company, a different manufacturer, or a shift in our product philosophy. Every YVY ebike is engineered with the same expertise, built to the same strict quality standards, and backed by the same team that brought you Ridstar. We've simply updated our brand name to support global growth and create a more cohesive identity—while keeping the heart of what made Ridstar trusted intact.

YVY K20/C20 = Ridstar Q20: Identical Performance, Only Logo Differs

For our most popular model line, the transition is seamless—because the bikes themselves haven't changed. Here's what you need to know about regional model names:

- U.S. Warehouse: The beloved Ridstar Q20 is now available as the YVY K20.

- Europe, Canada, UK, Australia Warehouses: The Ridstar Q20 is now offered as the YVY C20. In our Europe and Canada warehouses, Ridstar Q20 is still available now.

Crucially, YVY K20, YVY C20, and Ridstar Q20 are identical in every way—except for the logo on the battery. The frame design, motor power, battery capacity, riding performance, accessories, and all technical specifications remain unchanged. These are the exact same reliable ebikes you know and trust; the only difference is a fresh YVY logo on the battery pack (all still fall under the Ridstar Ebikes umbrella).

Regional Inventory Update: Smooth Transition Across Markets

We're rolling out the YVY brand gradually to avoid disruptions, so inventory will vary slightly by region:

- U.S. Warehouse: Complete transition! All ebikes now feature the YVY logo, with the YVY K20 fully replacing the Ridstar Q20 in stock.

- Europe & Canada Warehouses: Transition in progress. Ridstar logo ebikes (including Q20) are still in stock and available for purchase. We're phasing in YVY C20 models with the new logo, and will update you once YVY inventory is fully stocked. Rest assured, all Ridstar-branded stock is genuine, fully functional, and backed by our standard support.

Warranties & Support: No Changes Here

Your peace of mind remains our priority. All YVY and Ridstar ebikes are covered by the same Ridstar Ebikes warranty and supported by the same customer service team. Whether you own a classic Ridstar Q20, a new YVY K20, or a YVY C20, you'll receive the same level of care, maintenance assistance, and warranty coverage. We're still the same team dedicated to your riding experience.
